Well, it's been one of those weeks. It's already Friday, and I was never really able to get the various posts that I had planned for the week finished. I guess that's just the way things go sometimes. Not that I'm complaining - it was a pretty good week after all, even if the Brewers stunk it up.

So to finish off the week in grand fashion, here's another Friday video clip. This time we'll take a look back at the 1989 season of Saturday Night Live and "George F. Will's Sports Machine." There is nothing greater, after all, than listening to George Will expound on "the only game that transcends the boundary between fury and repose," a game in which a catch like Willie Mays' "was not unlike watching Atlantis rise again from the sea, the bones of its kings new-covered with flesh."

Enjoy the Sports Machine and I promise that we'll have a little more substance next week (not that pictures of George Steinbrenner and Rickey Henderson in fake mustaches or ads featuring Tony La Russa using hairspray are lacking in substance).
