Behind Eli’s strong “performance” he recorded two touchdowns and threw for 342 yards and one interception and had a 14 point lead before Brady’s Patriots came back to tie the game. But it was a last second 40 yard field goal by the Giants kicker Lawrence Tynes that sealed the second Superbowl win against the Patriots.
The Madden simulation, which is based off real stats and complex player rankings, did get it wrong last year predicting the Steelers would win but has always been extremely accurate; even predicting the Giants first Superbowl victory against the undefeated Patriots.
